a platform for educational activities, where volunteers would meet locals and
share their knowledge about the subject and at the same time encouraging
136 members to seek out more information about the benefits of planting trees and
plants. Hopefully, as this subject takes on a deeper root in the communities, more
and more people will be engaged in prevention activities.
To increase the impact of this effort the project has also included 10 schools
with more than 200 students. The plan is to create several lessons concerning the
importance of tree planting and soil erosion prevention.
