Each event featured:

• Guest speakers such as prominent organic farmers, politicians, cultural
personalities and community activists. 41

• Presentations and films about global warming and climate change.
• Space for discussions, debates and snacks.

• Cleanup actions on beaches, in rivers and communities.

• As a result, many people got involved, became inspired and were mobilized

to protect the environment. During the events, they also learnt more about
healthy food security, renewable energy as well as how to get ready for
climate change.

A total of 250 people attended the events and, after all the conversations and
surveys were finished, it was concluded that the Climate Compliance Conference
would:

Start in each neighborhood by cleaning up, by

protecting the environment and by reducing

the blockage of drains (to prevent flooding).
